Residents who are unable to place their garbage or recycling carts at the curb due to age, disability, or a medical limitation may qualify for a Curbside Exemption, subject to approval by the Environmental/Public Works Director or their designee. Certain restrictions apply.

Please review the full Curbside Exempt Policy for eligibility requirements, service details, and program restrictions.

Approved exemptions must be renewed every two years to verify continued eligibility.

Residents who do not qualify for a Curbside Exemption may choose House/Garage Door Collection service for an additional fee.

If you have questions about this service, please contact the Solid Waste Division at (770) 641-3961 or curbsideexempt@roswellgov.com.
