The City of Roswell will reopen City Hall (38 Hill Street) and their facility at 1810 Hembree Road on Monday, June 15, 2020. Property & Evidence Release Information

The Property and Evidence Unit is available for release of property Monday through Wednesday between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Email or call 770-640-4409 to make an appointment. Please supply your case number, owner’s name, and the item(s) you wish to pick up for easier processing. Members of the public can reclaim their property and lost or stolen items after they are released by the investigating officer or detective.

Positive photo identification (Drivers License or State Issued I.D.) will be required for release of property. The owner of the property may designate another person to pick up the property. This will require a signed, notarized, affidavit from the owner of the property. The affidavit must also specify the name of the person to whom the property may be released.

Pursuant to Georgia Law, property not picked up in a timely manner or no longer needed by the courts is destroyed or sold at auction. Roswell Police Department uses, an online police auctions center.
