The City of Roswell will reopen City Hall (38 Hill Street) and their facility at 1810 Hembree Road on Monday, June 15, 2020. Both facilities will resume normal business hours and will be open for walk-in appointments, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please visit for details and for information regarding the City of Roswell coronavirus response.

The Roswell Police Explorers is designed for young men and women ages 14 to 20 who are interested in a possible career in law enforcement. The program works to develop character in participants while also building leadership skills and an overall appreciation for the community and citizenship.

Participants gain hands-on experience, practical knowledge, and real life information in the following areas:

  • Accident Investigations
  • FATS (Firearms Training Systems)
  • Criminal Investigations
  • Narcotics
  • K-9 Units
  • Self Defense Training
  • Law Enforcement Training Conferences
  • Ride-Along Programs
  • Firearms Training

Roswell Police Explorers is part of the Learning For Life program and also serves as a potential recruitment tool. Explorers compete with other surrounding posts in field training activities.
