False Alarm Ordinance

The Roswell Fire Department appreciates our business owners and homeowners making their homes and businesses more fire safe by installing fire alarms. Early detection and warning systems aid the fire department by catching trouble in the early stages. Our response time can be decreased if you have a monitored fire alarm system. However, every year we respond to a significant number of false alarms.

For information, please view False Alarm Ordinance.

Outside/Open Burning Ordinance

The City of Roswell and the Roswell Fire Department want to remind everyone of the dangers of outside burning. An ordinance is in effect to prevent anyone from outside burning unless their activities are specifically addressed by the ordinance.

For information, please view Open Burning Ordinance.
