Responsibilities & Duties

The City's Strategic Planning and Budgeting Office works with the City Administrator, departments, and elected officials each year to develop the City of Roswell's annual budget. The office also develops and implements a strategic financial plan and budget process for the city.

The Budget Office focuses on maintaining the financial health and integrity of the City through the development of fiscally prudent budgets, forecasting models, and other planning efforts, along with an effort to promote best management, planning, and financial practices throughout the City's departments.

Fiscal Responsibility

Roswell is one of only a handful of cities across the nation to hold AAA bond rating. The City prides itself on being fiscally responsible with our residents' tax dollars. Roswell's Mayor and Council offer a level of service to our residents that is unparalleled in metro Atlanta yet keep our millage rate (tax rate) one of the lowest in the area.
