Overview

The City of Roswell has revised the Post Development Stormwater Ordinance to facilitate the implementation of Low Impact Development practices to address Water Quality treatment for newly developed sites or redeveloped sites. Low Impact Development (LID) is a sustainable landscaping approach that can be used to replicate or restore natural watershed functions and/or address targeted watershed goals and objectives (EPA).

Design criteria and acceptable water quality treatment measures are outlined in the Georgia Stormwater Management Manual (GSMM) Volume 2. Additional resources are also provided which can be used to supplement the GSMM.

Please contact Erica Koh at 770-817-6788 or ekoh@roswellgov.com to schedule a Stormwater Concept meeting or with questions regarding these resources or other acceptable resources for Water Quality treatment.
