The Adopt-A-Road program enlists community volunteers to help remove litter to keep our city a clean and safe place for citizens, visitors, and businesses. The volunteers of the Adopt-A-Road program serve as visible reminders to the public that we are all environmental stewards. Roswell’s Adopt-A-Road program operates in partnership with Keep Roswell Beautiful.

Groups coordinate their own volunteers for litter cleanup on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of six cleanups per year. Trash bags and yellow vests are furnished by the City of Roswell. After each cleanup, record your work on the online form below. Trash bags and large items are picked up by the Sanitation department. The City of Roswell provides and installs a road sign recognizing each group for their cleanup efforts in their sections.

Coronavirus Response
Consistent with local, state, and federal recommendations, Adopt-A-Road cleanups should be limited to no more than 25 people at a time and individuals should maintain at least 6’ between each other. It is highly recommended that you wear a mask and work gloves and have hand sanitizer readily available on site. Make sure reusable gloves and any equipment used is sanitized after the cleanup. Please visit www.roswellgov.com/coronavirus for more information regarding the City of Roswell coronavirus response.
