The City of Roswell will reopen City Hall (38 Hill Street) and their facility at 1810 Hembree Road on Monday, June 15, 2020. Nuisances - Health and Safety - City Code Chapter 8.8.3
All property must be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition free of all junk, litter, refuse, and overgrowth. The responsibility to maintain the property is with the owner, the resident, and the person in control of the property.

Nuisance - Junk Cars - City Code 8.8.3 and Chapter 22.4.4

A junk vehicle is one that is inoperable or unregistered, or is wrecked, rusted, dismantled, abandoned, or discarded and may not be parked, stored, or left on public or private property.

Nuisance - Noise - City Code 5.1.13 and Chapter 8.8.4 (b) (c) (f)

It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in or conduct any activity in the construction of any building or structure, the moving of earth, or the laying of any pavement, including, but not limited to, the making of any excavation, clearing or grading of surface land, and loading or unloading material, equipment, or supplies, except between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, unless a permit for each work at different hours or days has first been issued by the chief building inspector.

Commercial or industrial power tools used for landscaping and yard maintenance shall not be operated on a residential property or within two hundred fifty (250) feet of a residential property line, between the hours of 10:00pm and 7:00am on weekdays, or between the hours of 10:00pm and 9:00am on weekends.

Owners and the agents of owners of domesticated animals shall not permit any barking, baying, howling, crying, or making any other noise for more than ten (10) continuous minutes without interruption or more than thirty (30) minutes if intermittent.

No amplified sound or outdoor performances (with or without amplified sound) shall be permitted after 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday or after 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday. Outdoor performances include activities conducted indoors or under a roof but open to the outside by means of open windows, doors, screens or other opening. This excludes normal opening and closing of doors for entry and exit.
