Team Roswell: Apart But TOGETHER

Team Roswell COVID-19 Response Recent events and disruptions related to COVID-19 have made things even more stressful for many of the individuals and families that rely on the support of local nonprofits. Roswell is home to so many wonderful nonprofits that provide a variety of services benefiting our community daily. So, if you are looking for a way to help your neighbors, this is an ideal time to donate!

Check out the list of local nonprofit organizations that are part of the City of Roswell's Nonprofit Partnership Program (NPP)* below. Click on their links, learn more about their work, and donate to help them support our community at this challenging time.

*Please Note: Roswell is home to many nonprofit organizations working to help our community. We encourage our residents to give back to any nonprofit of their choosing. Partners in the Roswell NPP have gone through an extensive application process to ensure their services directly benefit Roswell residents. Roswell nonprofits interested in joining the City's Nonprofit Partnership Program can learn more by contacting Danny Blitch at dblitch@roswellgov.com or 770-641-3727.

The Roswell Nonprofit Partnership Program:
Working Together for Our Community

Community Service Nonprofits do vital work within communities, but too often, these organizations struggle to find and retain funding, support, volunteers, and public awareness. Building on the idea that there is strength in numbers, the City of Roswell's Grants Division has established the Nonprofit Partnership Program (NPP). NPP helps organizations providing services in Roswell to address these challenges with the City's help. Fifteen nonprofits have already joined the NPP, which facilitates collaborations and provides support to expand each organization's capacity to serve Roswell residents. A major 2017 accomplishment was the award of an AmeriCorps planning grant, through the City, to partner with the YMCA (Branch: Ed Isakson/Alpharetta) and STAR House Foundation to provide tutoring assistance, STEAM training, and health and wellness/life-skills activities in eight Roswell after-school programs.

Organizations participating in NPP are able to receive:

  • Training, networking opportunities, and community updates through City-sponsored forums, seminars, and emails
  • Prospect research and guidance on the development of grants
  • Marketing support to garner the time, talent, and treasure of those interested in engaging with the organization
  • A formal City partnership to expand funding opportunities and strengthen grant proposals

Community Service Opportunities

We encourage you to engage with the wonderful programs and services that support local residents and the economic vitality of Roswell.
