Comments Sought on City of Roswell 2018 Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Local Solicitation

City of Roswell residents are invited to comment on a 2018 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) application. Grant funds may be used for state and local initiatives, technical assistance, training personnel, equipment, supplies, contractual support, information systems for criminal justice, and criminal justice-related research and evaluation activities that will improve or enhance Law Enforcement programs.

If awarded, this $10,719 grant will be used to send the Roswell Police Department’s supervisors and managers through the International Association of Chiefs of Police's (IACP) Leadership in Police Organizations (LPO) training program.

The City of Roswell is required by the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs to solicit citizen comments on the JAG proposed projects. Comments must be submitted in writing via email to calford@roswellgov.com, or by mail to City of Roswell, 38 Hill Street, Suite 115, Roswell, GA 30075 to the attention of Charles Alford.
