Car Seat Education and Safety Inspections
The Roswell Fire Department offers child safety seat inspections by appointment only to ensure your child’s car seat is properly installed and meets current safety guidelines.
Appointments are available Tuesdays only, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Sign Up for a Car Seat Safety Inspection
Certified child passenger safety technicians will demonstrate and educate parents and caregivers on the proper installation of the child restraint. The technicians do not perform the installation of the seat. Please have someone with you if you are unable to physically install the seat.
Inspections are conducted by certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians and typically take 20–30 minutes per seat.
