As the project name implies, this is a complete street. A Complete Street is designed and operated to enable safe use and support mobility for all users, regardless of their age, abilities, or mode of transportation.
Specific improvements proposed include:
- Mini-roundabouts at River Lake Drive and Taimen Drive
- Median islands at intervals east of Taimen Drive to provide traffic calming
- Four-foot-wide bicycle lanes
- Ten-foot-wide vehicular lanes
- Curb and gutter with a five-foot-wide sidewalk along the north side of Riverside Road
The existing multi-use path along the south side of Riverside Road will remain and a ten-foot path will connect to it from Riverside Park to SR 400.
