Riverside Park/Sprayground Temporarily Closed
The City of Roswell is preparing to begin construction on a major bond-funded renovation of Riverside Park (575 Riverside Road), a key project within the City’s River Parks Master Plan that will enhance access, amenities, and connectivity along the Chattahoochee River.
The park is expected to reopen in Summer 2027.
What to expect:
- No traffic interruptions are expected as a result of the closure.
- Pedestrian routes will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
- Alternate parking will be available at Ace Sand Park (705 Riverside Road, Roswell, GA 30075) and Don White Memorial Park (925(B) Riverside Rd, Roswell, GA 30075). Alternate parking is excluded at Azalea Park and River Landing.
- Riverside Sprayground will also be closed during construction.
- The Riverside Sounds concert series, which has historically been held at Riverside Park, will be on hold until further notice.
The Riverside Park renovation is part of a long-term vision of establishing a first-class River Park System to create a more connected network and experience for residents and visitors.
