The City of Roswell will reopen City Hall (38 Hill Street) and their facility at 1810 Hembree Road on Monday, June 15, 2020. Danny Bates Captain Danny Bates began his career in Law Enforcement with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office in July of 1984 and started with Roswell Police Department in July of 1986. Captain Bates is currently the Division Commander for Criminal Investigations. Captain Bates has earned promotions at regular intervals throughout his career, working within both the Uniform Patrol Division and Criminal Investigations Division.

Captain Bates is currently enrolled in the Professional Management Program at Columbus State University. He is a graduate of the FBI LEEDA program (earning the coveted Trilogy Award) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police Leadership Development Program.

Captain Bates is also a graduate of the Roswell University Supervisory Development Program and the Roswell University Leadership, Experience, and Development Program.
