The Roswell Police Department responded to an assault that occurred at 270 East Crossville Road, Roswell, Ga. The incident happened around 10:00 PM. Four masked individuals surprised a 67 year old female when she exited the rear entrance of the business. The suspects kidnapped the victim at gunpoint and forced her into the back of a black van.
As officers were arriving on scene, they spotted a van fleeing from the area. The officers attempted to stop the vehicle, and it collided with a tree on Holcomb Bridge Road. The driver and the occupants fled on foot.  One person was quickly located and taken into custody. Officers rescued a 67 year old female victim from the back of the van, and she was transported to the hospital with non‐life threatening injuries.
Officers continued to search  the area for the remaining suspects with the help of an Atlanta Police helicopter.
The van was reported stolen out of Cobb County last week.
The investigation is ongoing.
