Roswell Drinking Water Festival

The Roswell Drinking Water Festival will give citizens an opportunity to learn about the drinking water process on Saturday, May 4.

This free event will be held at the Roswell Water Treatment Plant at 100 Dobbs Drive from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event will give guests the opportunity to tour the water plant and learn more about the source of their drinking water and how it is treated.  Participants can also enjoy a free cookout, children’s activities and giveaways, learn about water conservation and sign up for the AquaHawk water monitoring system.

This event kicks off the National Safe Drinking Water Week, May 5-11, 2019. Each year the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and other organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sponsor this week to provide a unique opportunity for water professionals and the communities they serve to come together to recognize the vital role water plays in our daily lives, discover water conservation practices and ways to protect our source waters from pollution.
