The Women of Roswell: A Staged Reading

The Women of Roswell: A Staged Reading
By Robin Seidman Pullen (Inspired by events at Roswell Mill in 1864)
Saturday, February 15, 2020
Cultural Arts Center Second Floor Gallery
Tickets: Free, but registration required

Three women confront the limits of their freedom as they forge a bond of friendship and struggle to find their own way home. Based on actual events, Robin Seidman Pullen’s play examines the story of mill workers in 1864 Roswell who were tried for treason for making confederate soldier uniforms. This intimate staged reading, featuring some of Atlanta’s finest actors, will be followed by a talkback with the playwright and moderated by Roswell Historical Society.
