A permit is necessary for any individual or company interested in film production on City property within the city limits of Roswell. Depending on the scope of your production, permits can be issued in as little as 24 hours.

Please complete the Film, Television and Video Permit Application giving us as much information about the scope of the project as possible. Once submitted, the application will be reviewed by any necessary City departments. If you are interested in using City parks or historic areas, please obtain permission from the Recreation and Parks Department prior to submission of your application. This will speed up the review process considerably. If you are interested in blocking City streets, the permit application will need to be presented to the Mayor and City Council for approval. Please allow three to six weeks for this process.

**Student projects must have an email from the supervising professor to verify current enrollment status before a permit is issued. Applications will not be processed until this correspondence is received. While there is not a permit fee for student projects, there will be fees associated with any City services required.
