The mission of the Roswell Fire Department is to:

• Protect the lives of all citizens living, working, visiting, or traveling through the City of Roswell
• Conserve property by minimizing the frequency and effects of fires, hazardous materials incidents, disasters, terrorist acts, and other similar occurrences

The methods the Department will use to accomplish its mission will be prevention, planning, control, training, and public education. We are committed to utilize, to the maximum efficiency and effectiveness, all resources provided by the citizens of Roswell and all applicable innovations.
