For the fifth consecutive year, the City of Roswell’s Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department has been named as a finalist for the National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management by The American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration, in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association. Duties & Responsibilities
The Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department oversees the operations and maintenance for over 900 acres of parkland. The Department also manages special events such as the Fourth of July, the Southern Trilogy (Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Smith Plantation), as well as recreational sporting opportunities for children and adults.
