City of Roswell is proud to be celebrating National Arts &
Humanities Month during October. The Roswell Arts Commission invites you to help us strengthen public awareness, appreciation, engagement and support of the Arts. We know that the Arts are a fundamental and essential part of our culture, a time-honored way of learning, knowing, and expressing. The Arts play a key role in driving economic prosperity and community vitality; activate our public places and collective efficacy.
Historic and Cultural Affairs will be producing a brochure with events throughout the City that are related to Arts & Humanities month. If your organization has an event in October and would like to be considered for inclusion in the brochure, please email Sheila Sillitto or call 770-594-6199. The deadline to submit an event is August 22 and must include a date, title, description and photo at that time. New this year, the Roswell Arts Commission will award three $100 Creative Competition Awards to the organizations or individuals that propose an innovative arts idea. For more information, contact Rochelle Mucha.
