The Roswell Police Department offers an excellent opportunity for college students majoring in Criminal Justice related degrees. The program has the ability to be tailored for each student depending on the exact needs of the degree the student is working towards, but generally speaking, the intern will have the opportunity to spend time with Uniform Patrol, the Criminal Investigations Division, the Communications Center, the Evidence Department, the Records Department, Municipal Court, the Detention Center and the DUI Task Force.

The Police Department will accept two interns per term, Spring, Summer and Fall, and will hold interviews as necessary to ensure the best candidates are awarded the limited spots. Currently, the Police Department has numerous openings for the position of Police Recruit, so a successful internship could lead to the ability to apply for a chance to join this great department.
