The City of Roswell celebrates National Arts & Humanities Month during October with a wide variety of activities that help us strengthen public awareness, appreciation, engagement and support of the Arts. We know that the Arts are a fundamental and essential part of our culture, a time-honored way of learning, knowing, and expressing. The Arts play a key role in driving economic prosperity and community vitality; activate our public places and collective efficacy.
In 2015, there are over 40 different events in October that show off the culture and diversity of Roswell.
New this Year: Art in the City
Art in the City is an initiative of the Roswell Arts Commission on behalf of the City of Roswell to display original art at locations throughout the City in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities month in October. Artists and host locations were asked to submit applications over the summer to take part in this inaugural exhibition. Twenty‐two different artists were matched with host locations across the City.
The artwork is on display at these locations from September 21 through November 20. Please check with individual hosts to confirm hours of operation.
