The Story Pirates Greatest Hits Show
Saturday, October 6, 2018, 10 AM & 1:30 PM
Ticket: $10, Ages 2 & up
The Story Pirates don't steal gold, pillage villages, or claim land; instead, they search for a different kind of treasure: kids' wildest, most imaginative stories. Each week, the Story Pirates—including world-class actors, comedians, improvisers and musicians—take original stories from real kids around the country and turn them into a wildly funny comedy podcast for kids. Their Greatest Hits Show is a sketch comedy musical based on some of the Pirates' favorite stories written by kids from around the country, plus a segment that's entirely improvised according to suggestions from kids in the audience!

Very Hungry Caterpillar
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Presented by Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia
Friday, February 15, 2019, 10 AM & 1:30 PM
Ticket $10, Ages 2 & up
Three beloved stories by Eric Carle, award-winning children's book illustrator and author, are retold on stage through the magic of black light and fanciful puppets. The Very Hungry Caterpillar follows the wonderful adventures of a very tiny and very hungry caterpillar as he eats his way through an amazing variety of foods on his path to becoming a beautiful butterfly. High up in the sky, Little Cloud playfully transforms himself into various creatures, including a sheep, an airplane, a shark and more. The Mixed-Up Chameleon is bored with his life, sitting about predictably changing color all day. Following an adventurous trip to the zoo, he attempts to emulate the beautiful animals he sees before coming to the conclusion that there is value in his own unique self.
